Emanate is a site specific photographic installation in the Station North Chicken Box, Baltimore, MD. Through this specific installation method, the clarity of viewing the photographs will become dependent on the time and location of the sun and how the light enters the space. Working with the temporal lighting of the situation, the transparent images would constantly be changing in brightness, saturation, and basic viewing ability to work parallel with the passing of time. Also, dependent on the intensity of the natural light, at times the images would begin to serve as a projector into the space creating areas of shadow, pattern, and color. The images will consist of somewhat banal interior spaces that become illuminated through direct light entering from windows. Therefore, the direction and pattern of the light becomes the subject itself. Through this specific installation the images will serve as a visual and physical representation and recreation of these specific light situations.
